Osho and the Victims of the Sect.

This is humility or egomania? spirituality or demonic materialism?

He gained notoriety for the many Rolls-Royces bought for his use, eventually totaled 93 vehicles. This made it the largest owner of cars in the world. His followers were proposed to expand this collection finally up to 365 Rolls-Royces-one for each day of the year, car price around $ 8.2 million. And several private jets.

It's worse than the pope on luxuries:

Osho or Rajneesh changed his name to Bhagwan (God) and initiated a movement supposedly renewal of humanity, but is limited to use shock therapy to brainwash their followers and get work for him, besides preaching sexual promiscuity was also fostered among children.

In 1981, Osho relocated to the United States and his followers established an intentional community, later known as Rajneeshpuram, in the state of Oregon. Within a year the leadership of the commune became embroiled in a conflict with local residents, primarily over land use, which was marked by hostility on both sides. Osho's large collection of Rolls-Royce automobiles was also notorious. The Oregon commune collapsed in 1985 when Osho revealed that the commune leadership had committed a number of serious crimes, including a bioterror attack (food contamination) on the citizens of The Dalles. Osho was arrested shortly afterwards and charged with immigration violations. He was deported from the United States in accordance with a plea bargain. Twenty-one countries denied him entry, causing Osho to travel the world before returning to Pune, where he died in 1990. His ashram is today known as the Osho International Meditation Resort.

Stork was 9 years a main member of the ashram. If she really experienced the bad things she describes, why didn't she leave the ashram earlier? If something abusive happens, the normal way is to run away from it and not to participate. Maybe this whole story that Stubbs describes is a FAKE and with that FAKE she tries to tarnish the Osho figure and the Sannyas movement. Maybe her acting in Rajneeshpuram was arranged with Bhagwan (Osho), so he has got a reason to dissolve the commune in RP. To write things down is one thing, to believe what is written is another one. A lot of people of the Osho movement have a glorified picture of Osho in their minds, and if somebody scratches a little bit on that idealized Osho picture, we fight with toes and air to hold on to it. Maybe Stubbs/Stork (Shanti Bhadra) wants with her book "Breaking the Spell: My Life as a Rajneeshee and the Long Journey Back to Freedom" to scratch on that imagined idol Osho.
