Green Movement Iranians Protesting

The Green Movement refers to a series of actions after the 2009 Iranian presidential election, in which protesters demanded the removal of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad from office.

Where is my vote?
is a motto which was used during the protests. The Iranian government, headed by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, released results claiming a two-thirds majority, However Mousavi had already claimed victory before the vote count was done and supporters of Mousavi and Karroubi accused the government of rigging the votes.

Clashes broke out between police and groups protesting the election results from early morning on Saturday onward. Initially, the protests were largely peaceful. However, as time passed, they became increasingly violent. Some protesters began to get violent after the results of the election were announced.

Must to See Documentary

What happened to the Green Movement? What happened to Iranians protesting in the streets? This excellent documentary examines the situation in Iran. Be rest assured we will soon rise up again....this time, we need the international community by our side! No more appeasements to these terrorist Mullahs who not only pose the gravest threat to the human rights and freedoms of freedom loving Iranians, but to the international community and all freedom loving people with their nuclear weapons. Such apoclaptic weapons should never be in the hands of such madmen!! Iran is the only country in the region which offers the hope for true secularism and democracy!!! We are a good people who value western ideals of freedom, secularism, and human rights.
